OMC Climbs 2024 – Carrauntohill

OMC Claims is thrilled to announce the launch of our marquee fundraising event, OMC Climbs 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to tick off that bucket list item of climbing Ireland’s highest mountain while raising funds for a great cause.

We invite all our colleagues from the Fexco Group, friends from the Irish insurance world, and our partners to join us in an exhilarating hike up Carrauntoohil. This event promises to be both challenging and rewarding, offering breathtaking views and a great sense of accomplishment.

Why We’re Climbing

For the next three years, OMC Claims has partnered with Special Olympics Ireland, an organisation that supports over 7,000 athletes across the island of Ireland. Many of our team members have been deeply inspired by the athletes and volunteers of Special Olympics Ireland, and this partnership reflects our commitment to giving back to the community. So far this year, our team has undertaken several individual fundraising challenges, including a 63km ultra marathon, a 24-hour cycle, and a month of ice-cold dips in the Irish Sea. These efforts have raised over €8,000 for Special Olympics Ireland and have generated immense support and positive energy within OMC Claims. We are now eager to extend this positivity beyond our team to our colleagues and partners.
