Neil described the uncertainty and vulnerability he felt when facing serious water damage and how OMC Claims’ response reassured him, resolving the issue in a professional and effective manner. John O’Donoghue discussed the critical role of ethics in claims handling and the ways CICA upholds these standards. Our Head of Major and Complex Loss, Declan Feely, provided a deep dive into business interruption claims, blending expertise with a relatable approach that kept the room engaged and informed. Declan demonstrated the dedication and tenacity he brings to every case, showing the skill and commitment he applies on behalf of clients facing complex claims. His insights and explanations underscored not only his mastery of the subject but also his unwavering commitment to achieving results. His story highlighted how dedication and perseverance in athletics can empower individuals to overcome obstacles in all areas of life. Additionally, our MC, Jim Flannery, received a heartfelt surprise thank-you from Special Olympics Ireland for his ongoing fundraising efforts throughout the year. This recognition reminded everyone of the powerful difference that community support and collective efforts can make, reinforcing the importance of giving back and staying connected to the causes that uplift those around us.
